These savoury, juicy, and decadent button mushrooms are the perfect accompaniment to your grilled steak or chicken. You could also simply serve them on their own as an appetizer, with a crusty baguette and a glass of your favourite wine. They're perfectly buttery — but completely free of dairy! The best part? They’re delightfully quick and easy to make!
🌿 2 Tbsp Garlic infused Olive Oil
🌿 1 Tbsp Butter infused Olive Oil
🌿 12 oz. button mushrooms
🌿 3 diced garlic cloves
🌿 Salt & pepper
🌿 Fresh parsley, finely chopped
Heat both the olive oils in a large skillet over medium heat, until hot but not smoking. Add the mushrooms and garlic, and sautee for about 3 minutes, stirring regularly with a spatula.
Sprinkle the mushrooms with a little bit of salt, cover with a lid, and continue cooking for another 2 minutes, occasionally stirring.
Remove the lid after the mushrooms have released their moisture, and sauté for another 3 to 5 minutes on medium-high heat.
Remove from heat and transfer to serving dish. Season with pepper and high-quality salt, and garnish generously with parsley.
