Everyone needs a good banana bread recipe in their pocket. It’s great for breakfast, brunch, a snack, or dessert — and this one is so moist and delicious!
This is completely free of butter — but keeps all of that perfect flavour, thanks to our vegan, all-natural, Butter-flavoured Olive Oil. This means you get all the added health benefits of extra virgin olive oil.
This is such an easy loaf to whip up — we think you’ll return to it again and again!
🔹 2 cups flour
🔹 1 tsp baking soda
🔹 1 tsp baking powder
🔹 1 tsp salt
🔹 2 eggs
🔹 1 cup sugar
🔹 ½ cup Butter-flavoured Olive Oil
🔹 4 very ripe bananas
🔹 1 tsp vanilla
🔹 1 tsp cinnamon
🍌 Preheat the oven to 350° f.
🍌 In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
🍌 In a large bowl, cream together the eggs and sugar, either with a hand mixer or stand-up mixer, or vigorously with a wooden spoon.
🍌 Stir the mashed bananas, Butter-flavoured oil, vanilla and cinnamon into the sugar and egg mixture.
🍌 Stir the dry flour mixture into the wet mixture, a third at a time, until it’s just combined.
🍌 Pour this batter into a 9”-by-5” loaf pan, and bake for about 1 hour — or until a toothpick inserted at the center comes out clean.
