Ginger & Orange Cabbage

Red cabbage is affordable and versatile — and you’re going to love this Ginger & Orange flavoured side dish. It’s delicious and wonderfully quick and easy to make.

If you don’t use it all, seal it and keep it in the fridge — it keeps well for a few days!

Ginger & Orange Sauteed Red Cabbage

🍊  One small red cabbage, or half a large head, chopped

🍊  Juice of 2 fresh oranges (or ½ cup from the carton)

🍊 ¼ cup of Honey & Ginger White Balsamic Vinegar

🍊  Optional: small piece of ginger (about 1.5 inches), peeled and diced finely

Place orange juice and vinegar (and fresh ginger, if you’re using it) into a large pan that has a tight-fitting lid. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, add the cabbage and stir.

Turn the heat down to medium-low, and place the lid on the pan. Let cook for 10 minutes or so, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is soft and tender but still retains some bite.

Garnish with salt and pepper, and serve!
