Blood Orange Chocolate Fondue

This delicious dessert fondue is perfect for Valentine’s Day — or any day you want to indulge in something sweet.

To receive the Blood Orange Fused Olive Oil at 15% off, you can grab it as a part of our Pairing of the Month in February.

For the fondue:

1 lb. dark chocolate chips, or whole bars, chopped coarsely

1 cup heavy cream

½ cups milk

2 Tbsp Blood Orange Fused Olive Oil

1 Tbsp freshly-grated orange zest

1 tsp vanilla extract

A pinch of kosher salt

2 Tbsp of traditional dark balsamic vinegar

For serving:

Chopped fruit; cookies; pound cake; shortbread; or anything else you desire!

Heat a six-quart slow cooker or dutch oven until hot. (Use the “high” setting if using a slow cooker.)

Combine the chocolate, cream, milk, vanilla, salt, and Blood Orange olive oil in the dutch oven or slow cooker insert.

Cover and cook for 30 minutes, then turn the heat to low and whisk the ingredients well.

Whisk in the balsamic just before serving.

Enjoy!
